 safer should some how work what happened two weekends ago regarding that family that got hit by the drunken fools then tryed too hide and went out and drank again. thats what alcohol will do but grass, but we as a civilization continue to be ignorant to the facts right there in our face, gov needs too change!

We were just talking about this very thing in English class last week. Indeed it does! The prollem in lies in the fact that the government, personally, makes too much money off us. That is why we'll never see any real reform. Sure, there may be a token issue here and there but real, true reform won't come until after a civil uprising. NOT that I advocate that, mind you, but that, IMHO, is what it’s going to take. The problem with that is that the vast majority of the masses are FAR too apathetic and passive. Yeah the hit and run was on a professor and his family from UCD. The poor man lost his wife AND two young (4/7 yo) girls. Yes, alcohol had a huge role in it but that wasn't the end all be all. Anyone who goes out, gets drunk, blows red light after red light downtown laughing has some serious mental issues. Made worse, I'm sure, by alcohol. |
