The Senate Report is brought up regularly in the debate here in Canada... it is still the gold standard of policy research into prohibition. It has contributed greatly to the quality of debate here in Canada. It's not a question of whether to regulate and control marijuana, but how soon, and how to deal with American concerns and the loss of jobs for police after repeal. With the militarization of the southern border, this is less and less of a concern and even attempts to try and claim marijuana causes 'psychosis' are ignored by the media and most politicians, who have been educated by activists over the past 15 years and would laugh at some of the tactics the prohibitionists are using in Colorado! www.senatereport.ca
