Lost battle, but moved forward the war! EDUCATION!

There is nothing to be sad about. We just got a larger vote in Colorado to legalize, tax and regulate cannabis than has ever been had before. Kudos to Mason Tvert, Steve Fox, the hardworking Colorado activists and the thousands of people who voted for this. I am proud to say that we, THCF Medical Clinics, donated over $1,000.00 to this campaign.

THCF has an office in suburban Denver, in Wheat Ridge. We have offices and doctors in Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Denver, Colorado and Honolulu, Hawaii. We have helped over 300 Coloradans, and a total of 15,000 chronically ill patients in 5 states get permits (to date) to legally posses, use and grow medical marijuana. THCF is a 501c3 nonprofit that also produces a weekly TV show called Cannabis Common Sense that is live in Portland, and runs in Denver (Tuesday & Thursday nights at 11 pm on cable channel 11 in Denver), Spokane, and other cities. THCF publishes a newsletter, Hemp News, six times a year. THCF sponsored this year's Seattle Hempfest, and produced and organized the Portland Hempstalk Festival. We also advertise throughout the western USA to tell the truth about cannabis and hemp (about $10,000.00 a month currently, with over $3,000 a month spent in Colorado ).

I think the real key here is that states like Colorado need to be targeted for a multi-year, nonprofit educational campaign to tell the truth about cannabis and hemp. We need more education so people know the truth. We have to counter the federal government's lies and distortions. We have to go toe-to-toe with these lying, cheating bastards and shine the light of truth and justice upon their deceit. When we do, when there is a multi-year, sustained, nonprofit education campaign, then we can't lose and then the politics and the public will follow. hmmmm well amendment 44 won in 13 counties and in denver again as well,i wouldnt call that a loss(more of a first step toward common sense).I would say 40% of colorado wants a change and 13 counties agreed with denver that adult marijuana users shouldnt be criminals or fined. 62% voted for 44 in Summit County,Boulder/53%, Clear Creek/54%, Eagle/56%, Gilpin/61%, Gunnison/57%, La Plata/56% , Lake/52%, Pitkin/72%, Routt/53%, Saguache/51%, San Juan/63%, San Miguel/74%, and Denver/56%(so far still not fully counted hmm??)IF YOU LOOK AT THE TOTALS,AMENDMENT 44 WINS IN 14 COUNTIES.VOTE YES 2008(Common Sense)
